DYNAMO SIGNS FIVE

5/23/2016

ROCKVILLE, MD — The club is pleased to announce the arrival of five new signings to the club as preparations have begun ahead of the upcoming season. We are excited to announce the capture of English U-23 forward Glenn Mallett, Brazilian U-21 forward Joel Nazaré, U-23 Spanish midfielder Mikel Avalos, highly experienced Irish international defender Kelvin Gillan, and Romanian international goalkeeper Miron Gaisenau. All five were at the top of Manager Mark Galinksy’s wish-list, and Galinsky was beaming when he spoke with Dynamo TV. “I’m excited about the lads who have joined the team, to have the ability to bring such a fine crop of both young talent and experienced internationals to the club will be a huge boost to the club and sends a real message of intent.”

WE’RE READY TO TAKE THE LEAGUE BY STORM

5/22/2016

by: Mark Galinsky – First Team Manager/Director of Football

Let me first start by saying that I’m still not quite sure what to make of the return of the TEFA Premier League. Without getting into it too much, I’m not convinced by the league’s management structure, particularly some of the people entrusted in ensuring the viability and success of TEFA Premier League football. This league has the potential to become something special, and it’d be a shame if petty boardroom politics and the ineptitude of the previous regime carries over to this new edition.

Regardless, when Dynamo reached out to me and expressed their interest in joining the league once again, and bringing me on board as Manager/Director of Football, it was impossible to say no. The club has entrusted me with bringing success to the club. I’m confident that we can build something special here, and anyone that’s ever been involved in club management knows that the first step in putting a successful team on the field is building a successful team off the field as well. That’s why I’m pleased to announce the formation of my backroom coaching staff. Joining me as our assistant manager will be Andriy Shevchenko, one of the deadliest forwards to ever grace European football. The former Dynamo Kyiv, AC Milan, and Chelsea star is the fifth-highest goal-scorer in European club competition history, a Ballon D’Or winner, a Champions League Winner, and will bring a wealth of experience and prestige to the club. Joining Shevchenko in the coaches dugout will be former Manchester United captain and England international Gary Neville, fresh from his learning experience in Spain and ready to bring his tactical nous and passion for football with him to Montrose Park. Joining myself, Andriy, and Gary in the dugout will be former England manager Glenn Hoddle, who has proven himself an expert in identifying young talent as the founder of the prestigious Glenn Hoddle Academy in Bisham Abbey. Glenn will balance coaching duties between the first-team and youth academy for the upcoming season. Rounding out the five-man coaching set-up, I’m pleased to announce our capture of another former Chelsea man, Paulo Ferreira. Paulo will be joining Dynamo in the coming weeks, and we’re excited to add his professionalism and leadership abilities to an already all-star coaching unit.

I know I speak for Andriy, Gary, Glenn, and Paulo when I say that we are supremely confident and optimistic of what we can achieve in the upcoming season, and in the years to come. We know we have the best supporters in the league; we proved that already in the previous iteration of the TEFA Premier League. Now it’s time we give the fans what they deserve- silverware.

We’re ready to take this league by storm.
